Steffen Schild & Utz Winter: Mobile Testing in mobile times – the new normal? Nowadays we are used to work mobile - we somehow expect all applications to run on a mobile device. Or at least work in a mobile situation, which means "on the way, on the train, in a cafe, in the park, at the beach", you know all of the nicer-than-office locations you prefer. Some 10 years ago, mobile testing was something special, that has to be done on top of "normal" testing, but only in case you are creating a real mobile app. Even the word "App" itself is used for every kind of application or program we are creating, not only for mobile applications that are offered in an App-Store on iPhone or Android, as it was 10 years ago. So, as mobile usage of apps is the way to go, is mobile testing also "normal" today? We will have a look into all this. How much "mobile" is inside our standard testing, what is the absolute minimum of "mobile" requirements today, that we are not allowed to miss. Are we ready for real mobility? Vitaly Sharovatov: The human factor in QA: Testing beyond codeWhat do code freezes, ORM (Object Relational Mapper) issues, code review conflicts, and AI security issues have in common? We often forget the human factor in quality assurance: we want to simplify the work, and this sometimes leads to unintended consequences. Let’s explore the reasons behind these common pitfalls in tools and processes and suggest solutions.

Rahul Verma: Pattern Thinking for Prompt Engineers: A Case Study in Test DesignPattern thinking is a natural human way of making sense of the world. We recognise patterns in problems to associate them with patterns in solutions. This idea is not to be confused with being confined to making use of named patterns identified by others.Away from the world of mnemonics and cheat sheets for prompt engineering, I explore basic anatomy of prompting in this talk. Along the way, I discuss applied pattern thinking in prompt engineering so that you are not cramming patterns - you are creating them, you are engineering your own.I take Test Design as a case study, but in large parts, the talk is applicable to anyone interested in prompt engineering.
